| Pirate's Booty combines two of my favorite things... Pirates and, uh, cheesy poofs.

Left eye has been problematic lately. A little puffy. Need more sleep or something. Or to stop staring at screens all day. Makes me appreciate having an eye, though. They are amazing things (and God gave us two of them!). But I wish the left eye would stop complaining...

| This is why Delta should go out of business (even though I have frequent flyer miles, they have the biggest hubs around where I live, etc.):
My flight from Detroit to Flint was delayed by a good 2.5 hours. It's less than 70 miles away, so people could have driven there faster than that. The fact that customers had to endure multiple gate changes and multiple new messages of later and later ETA times is horrendous--just let us know so we can make a decision, yeah? And also, a $5 voucher is kinda insulting. I mean, sure, give us something to keep us happy... but $5?!?
The funny thing was, the main reason why our flight was delayed was because of maintenance issues at Toronto. Once this flight landed, only about 2 passengers got out. Why couldn't they have gotten us another plane? It's not so difficult to juggle schedules a bit (take a flight with the same plane, have us use that plane, and then have the new flight use the other plane when it arrives). That way you can spread out the lateness a little.
I guess they don't want to juggle pilots' schedules, etc. as well. But it makes for a very poor customer experience.
I kinda liked it more when it was just plain Northwest Airlines...

| I don't know why it bothers me to see true "bleeding-heart" liberals--you know, the ones that come across as naive and so passionate about something because it SOUNDS good but they have no idea how to support their argument, why they have that particular opinion (other than the fact that they live in a city which is also liberal and that's what everyone else believes), and how to actually convince someone that their idea/vision can be put into practice into the real world. Likewise, it bothers me to see conservatives that are ignorant, "not my problem" or "the system will fix everything, let's just keep government small" types. I guess it's just the spoon-fed brainwashing and parrot-talking that keep the heart of each political party alive. Yay, politics.

I was expecting to see more of the Nissan Leaf, a full electric vehicle that Nissan is pushing through. Great initial ideas and momentum. They butchered the styling, though. Leave it to Nissan to make an ugly car. Sigh. This thing looks like a Nissan Versa on steroids (the bad kind that give you manboobs) and a $50 prosthetic butt implant job. If only they could make the Maxima pretty again. I guess the Leaf is too much into reality to be at this auto show right now...
